ABOUT
AWARDS
Jayachandran
considers awards as a recognition for performance. He always considered
it a challenge to get awards as it reflects ones talent. Getting awards
definitely encourages to do better and better. Awards
give a strong support to a singer which contributes greatly to the quality
singing of a singer. A singer after getting awards will know how his voice
is preferred by the public and of how it should be improved and presented
to them. Jayachandran then stresses on the point that awards should not
be regarded as a yardstick to measure the capacity and capability of an
artist. It cannot and should not be taken as the final recognition. An
artist should always remember that an award is only a step towards perfection.
